The fishing here is in a protected area and is very diverse. After a short ride by boat, you arrive at the deep and oxygen-rich waters of Torgfjorden, where the first hotspot for redfish awaits. To the north you will find the small island of Sylskjæran, and further out in Torgfjorden the 163m mountain, where good redfish and pollack must also be found. In front of Ormøya there are a number of steep underwater mountains where the bronze-coloured silverfish are waiting to be challenged to an exciting battle. If you already fish here, it is also worth fishing actively in the Stockholm Sound, where you can find the popular and fierce halibut. Yes, halibut are truly ubiquitous in this region. If you go south or west by boat, you will also find hot spots for cod lovers – the plateaus and mountains around Nordoddtaren , Revlingstaren, Sandøytaren and many more offer great fishing. But when choosing your gear, don't forget that where the prey fish are, the big fish are never far away. And if you still don't have enough sore muscles from fighting the big fish, we recommend a few casts on nearby Sørstraumen - here you can land sea trout for grilling.
