Only 3 km from the marina, there are good places for fishing cod, haddock and halibut in Dyrøysundet. Try also Spin Fishing for saithe (coalfish) in Faksfjorden or the Nordgrunnen, a 10-minute boat ride away. Other hot spots are located in Solbergfjorden and Tranøyfjorden and south of Mjøssundet. Right off the marina in Tranøyfjord and also on the edges of Faksgrunnen you will find cod over 10 kg all year and the big coalfish who is chasing out here.
