Foldvik Bryggeferie

With the Foldvikgrunnen a very interesting fishing area for cod, haddock, coalfish of the 10 kg class, flatfish and large wolffish is practically on the doorstep. Our customers who specialize in large cod and halibut, on the other hand, fish very successfully in the area around the fjord exit, which is about 20 minutes away, and on the south-east side of the island of Rolla. Incidentally, Foldvik is also a very interesting place for divers, because only a few minutes by boat from the houses there is a ship that sank in World War II at a depth of about 20 m. From day one, our customers caught big fish in this wind-protected fishing area and raved about the biodiversity on site. Our friends from the Quantum Sea team finally shot the bird in 2007, who managed to heave countless loach up to 11 kg and cod up to 15 kg and at least 11 halibut between 8 kg and 35 kg onto the planks in one week. Mind you, that was in 2007, long before today's popular halibut baits such as Royber-Jig or Bait-Head were even on the market. Although Foldvik Brygger is now a bit old, it has lost none of its charms: starting with the pleasantly short transfer from Evenes and Bardufoss airports, to the fleet of boats that are perfectly suited to this area, which is sheltered from the wind, to the comfortable but unfortunately meanwhile somewhat shabby holiday homes directly on the water.
