Straumfjorden

Here you fish protected by the high mountains and islands that border the Sagfjorden towards the Vestfjorden. In the area you will find large numbers of cod, especially in the summer.

The fjord is also known for good redfish fishing and often ling it is caught as a by-catch as well. If the weather permits, you have every opportunity to hunt for big fish in Økssundet or Skagstadsundet, which have a connection with the Vestfjorden.

There is also very good fishing in the fjord itself, where our customers fish for halibut, flounder and catfish.
