Larseng Kystferie

Only 25km away from the airport in Tromsø you will find one of the best fishing- and special halibut areas throughout the region. Comfortable accommodations, good service, stable and proofed aluminium-boats with 19 feet and 50 hp is what Larseng Kystferie is known for. Here , next to the legendary Rystraumen , you will find extreme good spots for halibut. The god spots are just outside the harbor. When tide flow up the areas around Straumsbukta are real known for the big flat predators, you also can catch big cod, haddock, plaice, coalfish and wolf-fish here.

Each year plenty of fishes more then 10kg get caught here in this fantastic part of northern-norway. Outside the Straumen there are plenty good spots for cod – the better ones normal hunting masses of small coalfish. Favorite lures are big shads or special systems with small coalies as baitfish.

The famous Rystraumen is known here for ages , therefore many locals and swedish top guides fish in the closer surrounding with this special current here. Due to the really extremely short transfer from Tromsø airport it is always worth a visit - even a long weekend is worth a try.
